Barbara Elizabeth Lunceford was born on November 24th, 1927 to Sue and Dwight Lunceford in Petaluma, California. She had a older sister named Emma that passed away at the age of eight from Appendicitis, and a younger sister named Betty. She grew up in Forestville, California and attended Forestville Elementary School. Her family moved to Sebastopol, California when she was a teenager and there she attended Analy High School. When she was eighteen she married her High School Sweet Heart Gervin Hansen and had a daughter named Linda. In 1962 she and Gerv divorced. Barbara then moved to Santa Rosa, California. In 1963 she married Walt Menini, they had a son named Tim, and she also had three step children named Dena, Tony, and Jim. In 1987 she and Walt divorced. She then moved to Red Bluff, California to be closer to her Mom and Step Dad. In 1993 she married George Hammer and divorced in 1998. In 1999 she moved to Healdsburg, Ca and met up with an old high school friend Sanky Trefethen, who would be her last Companion. Barbara had five grand children named Barbara, Joann, Joel, Lee, and Tony. She also had four great grand children named Ashley, Alisha, Natalia, and Matthew. Barbara worked at Sebastopol Bakery, Pacific Bell, Sears, Kmart, and also owned a Ceramic Shop and Wig Business. She loved working with the public, loved to talk and laugh. She had many friends. Treated everybody she met like they were someone special. Barbara had a glow about her that was unreal and a smile you just couldn't forget. Barbara had many talents too, she loved to play the organ, decorate, swim, cook, sew, dance, draw, and listen to music. On October 9th, 2005 we lost a very special person, Barbara Elizabeth Menini passed away from a heart attack in her sleep. She was seventy seven years old. Barbara will be dearly missed.
